Samsara Safety Technology
Our installed Samsara technology adds another layer of support to our safety processes. The system helps our team identify and review driving events, including harsh braking and speeding, providing information that can support driver feedback and ongoing improvement.
Samsara’s AI camera capabilities can also help identify signs of driver drowsiness, supporting our approach to managing safety on longer journeys. This technology works alongside our drivers’ training and vehicle checks.
Driver Walk-Around Checks
Before setting off, our drivers carry out walk-around checks to assess the vehicle’s condition and identify any issues requiring attention. These cover key areas such as tyres, lights, mirrors and visibility, alongside checks inside the coach, including seat belts and emergency exits.
After their journeys, drivers check the vehicle again and report any defects or concerns identified during the day. These checks help our team arrange any necessary attention and prepare vehicles for their next journey.
