The RHS Tatton Flower Show 2009 was held at Tatton Park 22 - 26 July. Set in acres of Cheshire countryside the show is famous for its friendly atmosphere, vibrant displays and inventive ideas to take home
As with previous years we were contracted on behalf of the RHS to operate ground transportation for the thousands of visitors to the event. With the assistance of our Operations Manager Reno Peers, a detailed traffic management plan was devised in conjunction with RHS & Cheshire County Council. Due to the nature of the show, particular consideration had to be given to the environmental impact vehicles would have whilst operating within the park.
With our specialised fleet, different types of vehicles were deployed in order to best serve the varying needs of the visitors, ensuring that access to the car parks, surrounding areas and public transport links was available during opening hours. Commenting on the show Reno Peers "we have enjoyed an excellent relationship with the organisers for a number of years and we continually strive to offer a bespoke transport solution to the show."
